About Us

Multi~Flo Wisconsin, LLC. (MFW)

Located in Janesville, WI is the exclusive Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan distributor of Multi-Flo , Enviro-Guard, and Nayadic wastewater treatment units.

James R. Baker started Multi-Flo Wisconsin in 1975. He was building homes at the time he discovered the Multi-Flo waste treatment system. This is when he realized that the best place to build a home was also the worst place to have a septic system. This caused my father to look into the Multi-Flo waste treatment system as well as pursuing Multi-Flo as a new business. It took quite a bit of blood, sweat, and tears to not only introduced the product but get it accepted by the state of Wisconsin and responsible governmental units. He finally was able to convince the State of Wisconsin to allow him to install a demonstration unit in Rock County in 1976. This Multi-Flo unit (the first aerobic treatment system in Wisconsin), served and continues to serve, a condominium unit that has a total of 4 bedrooms. The wastewater goes directly into the Multi-Flo tank without a pre-tank in front of it and drains into a dry well. To this day, this system is operating perfectly and the dry well is still completely dry.

Today, James P. Baker, James’ son, owns Multi~Flo Wisconsin, LLC James P. Baker also owns POWTS PROS, LLC, maintenance service organization which services and maintains these wastewater treatment systems

Multi~Flo Wisconsin, LLC was able to get full state approval in 1990. There have been no major design changes since the original tank was designed in the 1970’s. There are now thousands of Multi-Flo units installed throughout the state.

More about our products

The Multi-Flo Wastewater Treatment System:

Designed and introduced in the early 1970’s by Tait Manufacturing. The product line has been in continuous production since. The product line has received certification under ANSI/NSF Standard 40, which means that Multi-Flo units produce an effluent having less than 25 mg/L CBOD and 30 mg/L TSS. In practice, Multi-Flo units often produce effluents having less than 5 mg/L CBOD and TSS. And while not measured by NSF, fecal coliform is as low as 200 cfu/100 mL.

The Nayadic Wastewater Treatment System:

Acquired in the early 1990’s. Previously, the line was owned by the Nayadic Sciences, which introduced basic models in the late 1960’s. Since its acquisition, the Nayadic line has been improved. This line also meets ANSI/NSF Standard 40.

Sybr-Aer Wastewater Treatment System:

Designed with both the installer and service provider in mind, the FT-SERIES provides a cost effective and time saving solution for residential, commercial, and high strength waste applications. Best of all, the design is based upon robust Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) technology. The FT-Series can be purchased with or without UV disinfection which allows the treatment process and disinfection to occur in a single compact tank. The system ships pre-assembled and is pre-wired ready for installation saving valuable time onsite. To ensure proper performance, the FT-SERIES package also includes a pre-programmed control panel featuring an internal logic module with battery backup in case of power outages. All components have been designed to be easily serviced and utilize quick-release connectors for any part that requires removal for inspection or maintenance. The FT-SERIES is an ANSI/NSF Standard 40 approved system.
